Notes
*Member must be playing with guests. No guests allowed on the Duchy Course before 12.00pm Saturdays from November to February
New members can join at any time and pay pro rata of the remainder of the year up to 6 months prior to the renewal date at the discretion of the Director of Golf.
Direct debit available - 7% admin fee applies. Credit card payments - 2% admin fee applies
Members may upgrade membership category during the membership year for free if they have been a member for more than 6 months (free upgrades may only occur once every 3 years). Otherwise members must pay the appropriate upgrade fee which is the difference in category joining fees.
County and National Golf Union fees apply to all Duchy Course memberships.
New members are required to have a membership induction with the Director of Golf before membership starts
Terms and Conditions of Membership
- Membership is non transferable and can only be used by the stated person (s).
- Admission rights will be determined by Farrington Golf Club Ltd. who reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
- Members should observe the dress code and code of conduct for all areas of the club at all times.
- Payment can be made annually in advance or monthly by direct debit. Payments made by credit card will have a 2% charge applied. Memberships paid on direct debit will have a 7% charge applied to each monthly payment.
- Joint membership is available at a 5% discount and applies to any two adults permanently residing at the same address and where direct debit payments are made from one bank or building society account.
- Members may upgrade membership category during the membership year for free if they have been a member for more than 6 months (free upgrades may only occur once every 3 years). Otherwise members must pay the appropriate upgrade fee which is the difference in category joining fees.
- County and National Golf Union fees apply to all Duchy Course memberships.
(£15.50 male members, £18.00 female members, £12.50 junior boy members, £15.00 junior girl members) Adult members receive free county card on payment of golf union fees.
- Cancellation of membership.
- Annual memberships are non-refundable
- Farrington Golf and Country Club requires one month’s written notice of cancellation of direct debit payments.
- Any direct debit payment due within the month’s notice period will be taken.
- Cancellation of membership must be made in writing to; Director of Golf, Farrington Golf and Country Club, Marsh Lane, Farrington Gurney, Bristol. BS39 6TS or by e mail on jon@farringtongolfclub,net.
- Should a member cancel their membership, the bag tag and bar card should be returned to the office at Farrington Golf and Country Club.
10. Farrington Golf Club Ltd. reserves the right to terminate any membership without prior notice if the terms and conditions are breached.
11. All rules, signage and notices must be adhered to at all times.
12. Manor Course members may play on the Duchy Course at any time Sundays or Weekdays. The fee will be the current guest fee or use of a Manor Course members voucher book.
13. Tee times on the Duchy Course must be booked through the pro shop or online at all times and can be booked 2 weeks in advance Sunday to Friday and 1 week for Saturdays. Members can book up to two tee times in their name March 1st to October 31st and one November 1st to February 28th. More times may be booked through the office when available.
14. Golfers may be asked to join up with other players to form 4 balls wherever possible.
15. Golfers on the Duchy Course are expected to complete their round in 4 hours or less.
